E-commerce is gaining in popularity. The Czech Republic is one of the fastest growing e-commerce markets in Europe. Brainstore sees great potential for developing e-commerce by brokering retail sales in the Czech market and to other European countries. The company's Polish roots provide an opportunity to create strong and effective e-commerce cooperation between these countries. This is still a niche business for Polish manufacturers. Only 5% of Polish companies selling goods online send them abroad! Polish exporters are favored by the weakness of the Polish zloty against the Czech koruna.

According to ceska-ecommerce.cz, a website that aggregates online trade data, online stores generate 13.5 percent of retail sales in the Czech Republic. Turnover on the Czech e-commerce market in 2022 was several percent higher than the year before, and forecasts indicate that its value will reach 222.8 billion crowns (about 9 billion euros) by the end of 2022. The trend is therefore clearly upward.

The phenomenon of increased interest in online shopping in the Czech Republic (as well as in Poland, by the way) could be observed during the pandemic period, but it continued even after the lockdown was lifted. This is confirmed by Eurostat data, according to which already 3/4 of retail customers in the Czech Republic buy online (2021 survey). Meanwhile, the EU average is 66 percent, and in the case of Poland, 61 percent.

The Czech e-commerce market is therefore booming, and Brainstore s.r.o. wants to make its mark on it. The company sees an opportunity and has high hopes for success in the local market after launching operations in 2023.

Among other things, online trading offers the opportunity to significantly reduce the costs the company would have to incur to open stationary stores in Prague, Brno, Ostrava or other cities.

Entering the Czech market with the sale of goods online, the company will focus its attention not only on professional preparation in terms of logistics, among other things, but also on online service and customer care in Czech, as customers expect.

Brainstore, as an e-commerce broker in trade, will continually build its position in the Czech retail market through high quality customer service, but above all by expanding the range of goods and the base of mainly Polish manufacturers who currently do not export goods beyond the southern border.
